About Me

Professional Background

I am a graduate of the Public Health School at Columbia University.  Not surprisingly, then, I believe that the three most important interventions in health care are prevention, prevention, and prevention.

I obtained my medical degree from Hahnemann University (now Drexel University) in 1984, and then spent three years at the University of Pittsburgh in a rigorous internal medicine training program. This was followed by two years at Hershey Medical Center and one year at the University of Pennsylvania completing an invasive cardiology fellowship.

I moved to Carlisle, Pennsylvania, in 1990 and have been very busy as an invasive and non invasive cardiologist since.  I am board-certified in both internal medicine and cardiology and have been named a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.  Aside from cardiology, some of my other interests include reading, skiing, exercise, and sports cars.
